The Lion's Club and Chamber of Commerce took great care of us.  We had our own trash, porta potty, security and were treated to dinner in town and then a BBQ at Discovery Park.  After dinner, we were taken on a tour of the Space Center and telescope and the best treat of all, a tour of the night sky.

Well, I finally made it to the Safford SalsaFest.  If you remember, this was supposed to be my first trip last year.  Well it was cancelled last year.  But, I think that was a good thing because, I would have never had My Sanctuary ready to go.  This trip started a little bumpy, after feeling like I was ready to go, the Expedition battery was dead.  Luckily Ray was home and charged me up.  I was delayed so didn't get to ride with the Cowgirl Caravan into town, but I was only delayed by an hour and made it there in time.  I did pull into town with a squeaky trailer wheel and was told it was probably the bearings and an eventual dead battery to boot.  I worried abit about finding someone to fix me up, but my Sisters told me not to worry, we'd be taken care of.  And we were.  After searching for someone who could come to the trailer, since I was dead in the water, so to speak, I found a great guy, Clay Richardson, from Kempton's Chevrolet, who came to the rescue, changed my battery and fixed, what was to be a broken trailer brake (which I wasn't using anyway).  He did it all in an hour or so and gave me a ride to the shop and a VIP discount.  What an angel he was!  Thank you.  We had a good time, even though the weather was hot, hot, hot.  But the Salsa Fest and the people were great, and we did it all together!

Ever Changing Path

Most of the time, we mortals assume our life is on a predictable and planned path. We want to believe we have control over what our days wil...
